Dalchini Scotland
Dalchini, a pan-Indian word for 'Cinnamon', literally means 'Chinese bark'.

In the late 19th century, migrants from the Hakka Chinese community settled in Kolkata, India. They brought with them their native cuisine, which they delicately blended with herbs and spices from India, opening their first restuarant in 1920.
